Thoughts on Digital Literacies We hear from our instructors and other about how important our portfolios will be to secure a job but we this is not always clear while we are in the midst of our research or when we are reading some primary texts. I like how this article makes it clear how the types of thought processes that we are developing in MSIDT reflect the types of work practices necessary to be successful in this industry. I consider this very important for me at this stage because I realize that I am really just beginning to understand the responsibilities and languages of the internet. While most of what we see and experience on the internet is curated for us by those versed in the language of the internet, we need to know how this information is collected and presented.
